| Experience: | I am a skilled tutor with more than 2,000 hours of experience tutoring or teaching. I studied a variety of fields while pursuing my degree in Chemical Engineering and became a tutorial instructor because I am excited about learning and the learning of others. I was a tutor through college and always studied for depth, with the intent to teach what I learned. It is common for my students to laugh during study sessions. I was voted the most inspirational student by my senior year band class. For every semester that I attended WSU, I was on the President’s Honor Roll. I was recognized as the student of the month by my AP US History instructor immediately following the AP season. I believe that everyone is capable of gaining a firm grasp of mathematical concepts. I have helped many students overcome their anxiety and gain a more intuitive understanding of math. I have studied learning disabilities and have helped students with unique learning styles. I am familiar with the autism spectrum. Thank you for your consideration. |
