BA in English Writing from DePauw University, 2009. Minors in Spanish, Psychology, and Film. Top Ten in Major Award. I have also swam competitively and I love teaching swim lessons, to all ages! I believe that learning never stops. We learn in school and after school, whether it be through books, a great teacher, our experiences, our travels-whatever it may be-we never stop learning, and that is truly an amazing thing! Experience
10 + years of tutoring adults and children. I am a positive person and I really enjoy helping people! I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, living with a host family and speaking fluent Spanish. I love the Spanish language and enjoy teaching it to others! I'm a skilled writer and editor and have been published in poetry and short fiction magazines. I am very patient and I love working with kids. I have an innate ability to teach and nurture and since age 11 I have been helping kids to read. At age 16, I began teaching swim lessons and have worked as a swim coach in the past. I have worked with dyslexic people, people with ADD & ADHD, and people with autism. I feel confident that I am a great teacher and I make learning fun!
