I've been teaching for four years, and during that time I've taught world history, US history, and English to seventh and eighth grade students. I've also provided support and algebra to eighth grade students. I've had opportunities as a classroom teacher to also provide individualized instruction to students, and I get to examine each student to identify their strengths and areas of opportunity. I believe learning works best when teachers and students collaborate, and I am sensitive to the fact that every student learns differently. I have strong listening skills, and I use those to help my students in the most effective way possible. I tutor algebra, elementary math, reading, writing, history, geography, English, social studies, government, geography, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, basketball, and running.
